This picture was taken using the P setting, it portrays a flower in the middle of an unfamiliar setting. This image was manipulated once uploaded and I am unable to get the unmanipulated image, therefore isn't a true representation of the camera settings.
These photos were taken at home using my Nikon coolpix l830.
In this first photo, I used the close up set in tool in this camera, this really focused on a particular object, and vaguely blurred out objects too close to the lens.
This setting would be great if you are trying to capture something in the distance and need that level of close up to get the right shot.
This image was taken using the setting exposure compensation in +2.0. This made the image extremely light and the actual content barely visible.
This would not be suitable to use when taking pictures or using to film as the images you are trying to capture would not be clear and visible, and wouldn't hold the best quality I can give.
For this photo, the opposite was used, exposure compensation in -2.0 captured this dull, dark image. This setting could be helpful if i'm filming in a light area and the camera is unable to capture everything. Also, if you are filming a dark and moody type video, this effect and setting could help to set the tone.
For this image, I used easy auto mode set into the camera, this setting really captured the poppy and I feel this photo represents the loneliness category I was given, as it stands alone in the middle of a flower bed.
This image was taken using the area focus area mode in the mode CENTER. This setting really puts emphasis onto the object in its field of vision. In this case the poppy was captured and everything else was blurred around it.
This image was taken using the smart portrait tool, this setting really emphases every flower, and blurs the background out ever so slightly to really create depth in the shot. I find this picture really relates to the 'togetherness' aspect I was given to explore.
